Rudy Project RX warranty

Rudy Project will replace any lenses with manufacturing fault. Credit will be issued upon check of the defective lenses by Rudy Project.

Diamond Coat and Hard Coating are warranted for a period of two years. This warranty is limited to a one-time replacement of the defective product with one having the same characteristics. Damage due to improper care and handling is not covered. The Rudy Project Quality Dept. determines the cause of the defect (defective material or improper care).

Hard Coating is always included with Rudy Project Rx lenses. Although it provides superior resistance, it cannot prevent scratches or damage in case of crashes, grinding or contact with abrasive material. Scratches may affect Laser, Multilaser and Racing coatings more than other tints. Rudy Project is not responsible for damage resulting from improper use and care. Any evaluation is made by the Rudy Project Quality Dept.

EXCLUSIVELY ImpactRX 2 Black, 2 Red, 2 Laser Black, 2 Laser Brown, 2 Laser Red and 2 Laser Purple lenses are GUARANTEED AGAINST BREAKAGE. In case of breakage, the lenses must be returned to the Rudy Project laboratory to exclude any cause resulting from improper use.

In case of non-fitting, the purchased lenses will be replaced with a new pair with different characteristics or with a pair of single-vision lenses. This warranty is valid within 60 days from the shipping date.

Photochromic pigments of Rudy Project RX lenses are guaranteed for two years only in case of total lack of activation. Due to a different manufacturing process, the filter category may differ from the plano lenses described in the catalogue. Activation is affected by environmental conditions such as temperature and altitude: the stronger the UV radiation, the faster the activation. Like all organic materials, photochromic pigments age with UV exposure, not with the number of activations.
