Protecting the playground
that makes performance possible
At Rudy Project, performance lives outdoors. Whether it is a forest trail, an alpine climb, open water, or a long road cutting through the desert, nature is not just a backdrop to sport — it is the environment that makes sport possible. That is why Ride To Zero is part of how we think, design, and act.
We believe it is our responsibility — together with our partners, athletes, retailers, and communities — to help preserve this playground, so it can continue to inspire movement, performance, and wellbeing for future generations.

A product approach to responsibility
Ride To Zero takes shape through the products themselves: how they are designed, how long they stay in use, the materials they incorporate, and the way their impact is measured. For Rudy Project, responsibility is not a separate layer added after design. It is expressed through repairability, durability, material choices, and a growing ability to measure product impact across both eyewear and helmets. Rudy Project has extended its Carbon Footprint analysis to both categories through a cradle-to-grave approach.
Measured impact, across products
Rudy Project has expanded its Carbon Footprint work from eyewear to helmets, strengthening its ability to understand product impact and support more informed design decisions across categories. The current CFP analysis covers both eyewear and helmets with a full cradle-to-grave system boundary.
Eyewear designed to stay in use longer
Many Rudy Project eyewear and helmet models are designed to remain serviceable over time, with replacement lenses and selected spare parts available to help extend product life and reduce the need for full product replacement. Dealers can find each model's spare parts in the Pro area.
Circular product thinking
With products such as Sinergy and the new Arex, Rudy Project is applying a more circular design mindset to helmet development: modular thinking, component logic, and design for disassembly.
Lower-impact packaging choices
Ride To Zero also takes shape through packaging that reduces the use of virgin materials while keeping products protected. Rudy Project prioritizes paper-based packaging that is easier to separate and recycle. For example, the rigid case supplied with premium sport eyewear is made with 96% recycled material.
Timeless sport elegance
Ride To Zero also means designing products that remain relevant over time. Rudy Project's timeless sport elegance is not fashion-driven styling, but a design approach built to last visually as well as functionally.
Beyond the product
Sport also plays a positive role in promoting health and wellbeing, in line with Goal 3 of the UN 2030 Agenda. This goal is among the targeted goals of the Ride To Zero program, which aims for a broader approach to sustainability, including social and governance activities.
